Pillow boxes are amongst the most popular of all available box types.

They are used mainly for packaging presents and small gifts. They are perfect for personal items, cosmetics, pharmaceutical products and small electrical appliances, and make it easy to pack products so that they are safe and well protected during shipping. Pillow boxes are an affordable and modern alternative to traditional folding cartons. Available in a choice of sizes, they are an excellent medium for promotional purposes. Our pillow boxes are available in sizes from 60x20x60 mm up to 350x100x300 mm, which makes them suitable for a wide variety of purposes. They are particularly popular as a decorative item on exhibition stands and in window displays. The exterior surfaces of our pillow boxes may be customised. We provide ready-made designs, but we can also use your own logos, images and text.

They are normally delivered flat so that they take up minimum space during shipping and storage. The special thing about pillow boxes is their elliptical shape. Unsurprisingly, they take their name from their pillow-like appearance. They are glued along their longitudinal seam and may be opened and closed from both sides – which is one of the reasons they are so versatile. Their ends, which are curved, can be securely sealed without the need for fasteners. Their appeal derives from their curved shape. In fact, the curved, elliptical shape of the pillow box is precisely what makes it so different from traditional folding boxes.

They can be produced using fine board, cardboard, corrugated board, or even premium-quality chromium sulphate board. Our standard pillow boxes generally use high-quality chromium sulphate board which, as well as offering high stability, have a number of characteristics that are desirable for printing. A variety of different printing methods can be used, including digital and offset. An unlimited number of colours may be used – anything from standard four-colour printing, right up to special custom colours.
